Bob and Ann Celebrate with Family Portraits

Bob and Ann just celebrated their 50th anniversary! A great excuse for family portraits (of course). We met at Big Springs downtown Huntsville and walked around together. They brought their wedding picture to include in one of the shots – how awesome to look at them then and now and celebrate two beautiful children and one delightful grandchild 🙂 Too cute!

Love those Kaylee kisses!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLooking forward to the more wonderful years ahead!  Lovin’ it out  🙂

I hope all the couples we get to photograph can one day hold up their wedding pictures and celebrate fifty anniversaries together!

Eric | Class of 2012

The world is filled with wonderful people and Eric is one of them! We were excited when Susan contacted us to schedule Eric’s senior portrait session. One of the best things about teaching Sunday School has been to see all “our” little people again at special times in their lives.

We had a great session with Eric starting at Lowe Mill (love the rust door ) and then we adventured on to our backyard. Eric was a natural in the hammock and finished with a great jump shot! It was nice just spending time with Susan and Scott too 🙂

Getting in the Dirt with Tam’s Family | Huntsville Family Photographer

We took casual clothing poses first and then dressier ones afterwards – just in time to play in the dirt!

This was such a fun family and session. Tamara has been a dear friend since our adventure together training in martial arts (which now seems like soooo many years ago! I guess it was, we rec’d our black belts in 1994).  She is a beautiful lady and wonderful mom to these precious kiddos!

Katarina is growing up too fast. She is always a delight to be around – and I love how she interacts with her little brothers and also how she laughs with my Tony.

Brody was so content digging in the dirt. I just loved it! And Preston stayed busy finding and tossing rocks.

Just can’t imagine a better photo opportunity. Thanks Tamara for sharing a few hours with us 🙂

Flowers Inspire | Dahlias in bloom

I love fresh flowers.

Years ago I told my wonderful husband Tony that if I were rich I would have fresh flowers on my table all the time. Being the resourceful and thoughtful man that Tony is, he planted a wildflower garden and it continues to grow in beauty each year. It is such a relaxing activity to go out in the morning and see what is blooming. And then to select some flowers to create arrangements – and not only for my table, but for those around me too.

Tony shared, “now you are rich.” Yes, I am! And thankful.

Look and keep looking. Doubt flees, Joy reigns, and Hope conquers.
