Behind the Scenes | Music Video Recording

… won’t you stay with me… a little longer…

I woke up with Alona’s song playing in my head. I bet there were probably a few others from the set that did as well – ha! For the capture of a music video to accompany her new single, Alona Raevska along with Smallbox Entertainment Group chose several Huntsville venues.  She teased that by the end of the day and hearing the song so many times that we would be tired of her and her song, but that wasn’t the case. Alona and her song were delightful! The whole crew was just great – the day started with homemade cinnamon rolls (thanks Merrilee) and ended with a Bridge Street boat ride. There were many wonderful moments surrounded with our new talented, creative friends!

The video team led by Paul David was awesome to watch – a hard-working team that seem to flow so well together! Maybe I won’t complain to Tony about lugging around our equipment after watching them!

There for hair and makeup were Jeff Johnson and Mary Beth Elliott of Terrame Day Spa & Salon. Keeping us laughing throughout the day (and into the next) was Jason Crossman, also capturing behind the scenes footage. And the day wouldn’t have been the same without Philip Lucia, Alona’s dreamy love interest in the video. So nice!

The rooftop capture was one of Alona’s favorites. I really liked the atmosphere overlooking downtown Huntsville.

Still singing the song… “a little longer…”

Julie’s Belly Shots

I was so excited to capture maternity images for my friend and fellow photographer, Julie. She is awaiting the arrival of her third little kiddo and looking just lovely. We enjoyed a stroll through the garden and our photog talk!

Since Julie is a mom with a camera, sometimes she is not IN the pics (especially when she is busy photographing for others) so I’m honored to capture her in front of the camera.  And I’m looking forward to capturing her with her new baby in her arms  – Im sure there will lots of kisses from big brother and sister to photograph too!

Are you big brother? No, I’m Connor.

I have a new favorite little person! His name is Connor and he couldn’t be cuter! I met him and his new precious baby brother, Lane, at their awesome country home in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Beautiful home, beautiful family! Shalee showed me around and made me feel right at home. Connor even sang me his VBS song!

Congrats to Matt and Shalee on the arrival of baby Lane! I am looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Bob and Ann Celebrate with Family Portraits

Bob and Ann just celebrated their 50th anniversary! A great excuse for family portraits (of course). We met at Big Springs downtown Huntsville and walked around together. They brought their wedding picture to include in one of the shots – how awesome to look at them then and now and celebrate two beautiful children and one delightful grandchild 🙂 Too cute!

Love those Kaylee kisses!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLooking forward to the more wonderful years ahead!  Lovin’ it out  🙂

I hope all the couples we get to photograph can one day hold up their wedding pictures and celebrate fifty anniversaries together!

Eric | Class of 2012

The world is filled with wonderful people and Eric is one of them! We were excited when Susan contacted us to schedule Eric’s senior portrait session. One of the best things about teaching Sunday School has been to see all “our” little people again at special times in their lives.

We had a great session with Eric starting at Lowe Mill (love the rust door ) and then we adventured on to our backyard. Eric was a natural in the hammock and finished with a great jump shot! It was nice just spending time with Susan and Scott too 🙂

undefinedundefinedBest wishes Eric for your upcoming senior year! Come over and talk about teaching History with Tony again sometime soon!
