What’s a little girl to do in a pretty dress? Play in a field, of course!
So sweet capturing these three generations of lovely girls 🙂

I love fresh flowers.
Years ago I told my wonderful husband Tony that if I were rich I would have fresh flowers on my table all the time. Being the resourceful and thoughtful man that Tony is, he planted a wildflower garden and it continues to grow in beauty each year. It is such a relaxing activity to go out in the morning and see what is blooming. And then to select some flowers to create arrangements – and not only for my table, but for those around me too.
Tony shared, “now you are rich.” Yes, I am! And thankful.
Look and keep looking. Doubt flees, Joy reigns, and Hope conquers.

One of the precious perks of being a photographer is watching the families we capture change & grow! Special thanks to my dear friend Sharon for including us in a planned family photo day each year to capture her beautiful family!!! The tradition began following the birth of their first grandchild, Sophia, in 2006. And since then we have witnessed the addition of two wonderful sons-in-law and oh so happy grandson, Aaron.  This year we met at their home in Providence and adventured to the local woodsy area to pose and play.
We love you guys and look forward to spending time with you again!!
Today was a great day 🙂  Joined by one of my favorite people, my friend & studio-mate Monica, I was thrilled to spend time in a room filled with creative artists! The PPA, Professional Photographers of America, offers ongoing education to photographers and today was their Super Monday — a day of on-location classes across America. Monica & I drove to Florence, AL and attended “Designing to Sell” with Tana LeMay, creator of Wild Sorbet Frame Company. Tana is soooooo delightful and shared many wonderful tips (and she makes a yummy chicken salad). We were encouraged by Tana and her team and we enjoyed touring the location where the beautiful Wild Sorbet frames are produced!
Thanks so much Tana! Nice meeting each of you! We wish you the best & hope we have a chance to see each other again!!
It was a wonderful day….and I was INSPIRED!! Thanks so much for sharing that with me.
We loooove High School Senior Portrait Sessions – they are as unique as the kiddo, uh, young adult. Lifestyle portraiture allows them to share their personalities and favorite props. It adds another personal touch when we capture the graduating senior’s images in a place that is special to them. What better place than Eric’s home for a family that has so much fun together. What a great location – complete with a treasured family barn. Love it!
Sibling love…
Congrats Eric on your achievement and best wishes for the exciting adventure ahead!
xxoo, YOUR life is beautiful Eric, love it out!
GREAT PICTURES AND A GREAT FAMILY
